British bread giant Warburtons has finally settled the debate over whether to store bread in the fridge or pantry.

While not as hotly debated as the decades-long debate over how to store ketchup, the issue of bread storage remains a hotly debated one.

Previously, Heinz had given a clear answer about where to store ketchup after opening.

Bread giant Warburtons has followed Heinz in settling a major controversy.

A famous Bolton-based bread company, which has gone viral with commercials featuring Hollywood stars Robert De Niro, George Clooney and Samuel L. Jackson, has taken a strong stance on bread storage.

Warburtons are clearly choosing between a ‘pantry’ or a ‘fridge’.

Bad news for those who like to store bread in the fridge, Warburtons officially advises against doing so.

This is because low temperatures cause the bread to harden faster.

“We recommend storing the product in a cool place, away from light and heat sources. Refrigerating will cause the bread to harden more quickly,” Warburtons states on its เล่นบาคาร่า UFABET เว็บตรง ค่าคอมสูง website.

Jill Charlton, the company’s chief nutrition officer, also gave tips on how to keep bread fresh longer.

Charlton said Warburtons recommends checking the best-by date, which is on a yellow sticker or plastic strap.

“Bread can be eaten after the date stated, even if it is no longer of the best quality. Consumers should always check that it is free of mold before eating.”

Warburtons also recommends that if you want to store your bread for longer than it would in the fridge, you should freeze it.

Freezing bread before it spoils reduces food waste and maintains a similar quality to when it was first frozen. However, Warburtons recommends that bread should not be frozen for more than 12 weeks, or around 3 months.
